It All Begins Here
Is a community workshop offering a thematic curriculum for all ages. The activities combine folk, re-use, forage, place-based, transformative art. Taking inspiration from the flora and fauna and seasons of Los Angeles.
To encourage to explore creativity, self-expression, and experimentation through open-ended process art activities, fostering confidence and imagination. This program is guided by John Dewey’s philosophy of learning by doing, emphasizing that people learn best through active, hands-on experiences.
By encouraging self discovery, originality, and individualism we avoid the competitive atmosphere and expect each participant to proceed at their own pace without the pressure of creating a final product. The process of making is where the learning happens.
